I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over three years of experience in community mental health and substance use treatment. I provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, psychotherapy, interpretation of diagnostic results, and holistic treatment approaches. I believe in collaborative care, ensuring each patient is actively involved in their treatment plan, goals, and long-term strategies, with psychoeducation serving as a foundation for informed and empowered decision-making.
I have a particular passion for working with individuals in later adulthood. This season of life often brings significant transitions — retirement, identity shifts, evolving relationships, health changes, grief, caregiving responsibilities, and redefining purpose. These experiences can be deeply meaningful, but they can also feel overwhelming or isolating. I am committed to providing compassionate, thoughtful care that honors the depth of lived experience while supporting emotional resilience and renewed direction.
I strive to create a respectful and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and understood. My clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions across the lifespan. However, I find special fulfillment in helping those navigating retirement and later-life transitions rediscover balance, purpose, and emotional well-being.
Through both in-person visits and telehealth services across South Dakota, I work collaboratively with patients to address concerns through comprehensive assessment, medication management, psychotherapy, coping strategies, and holistic care. Together, we focus not only on symptom reduction, but on preserving dignity, independence, and quality of life at every stage.
