Amber Groeneweg is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a comprehensive, whole-person perspective to psychiatric care. With training in both physical and mental health, Amber understands the importance of looking beyond symptoms alone and considering the many factors that can influence a person’s overall well-being.

Amber believes exceptional psychiatric care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s experiences, concerns, medical and mental health history, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. Her approach is thoughtful and thorough, combining evidence-based treatment with open communication and shared decision-making so patients feel informed and actively involved in their care.

She provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more complex psychiatric presentations. Amber recognizes that treatment is rarely one-size-fits-all and works closely with each patient to find an approach that is clinically appropriate, practical, and sustainable in everyday life.

She wants each person to feel that their questions are welcomed, their concerns are taken seriously, and they have a provider who is genuinely invested in understanding their needs.

For Amber, psychiatric care is about more than managing symptoms. It is about building a trusted partnership, helping patients better understand their mental health, and finding a path forward that supports greater stability, confidence, and quality of life.
